Recruiting Update: OU had two visitors for the ATM game, one confirmed long time prospect Kenny Stills and one out of nowhere visitor in Chris Martin DE from Colorado (more info below). Neither kid verbaled, and they both are talking about finishing up their visits. Stills is clearly OU's highest rated target at WR other than long time target Darius White. Stills along with Brennan Clay and Tony Jefferson would represent a great California haul for OU, and provide some very strong evidence that David White's national recruiting approach has some legs to it. OU's next big weekend recruit wise should be for the OSU game. Who exactly is visiting is a great question? USC appears to be trying to push off some key recruits until that weekend which could hurt OU in getting some prospects into Norman. Recent OU verbal Austin Hayworth recently had his highlight reel reviewed by ESPN. Haywood went from unranked into ESPN's Top 150 (ranked 46th) and right now is rated as OU's best verbal. Amazing to go from unknown to possibly getting an invite to an All American game.
- Darius White: 6-3, 200, 4.45. WR. Fort Worth, TX (Dunbar). Is UT taking Demarco Cobbs a sign that UT has given up on Darius White? Is UT trying to steal LSU's Mike Davis. Is White going to UT this weekend anything more than giving UT one last choice? OU fans have been holding out hope for months that White would be a Sooner, a verbal to UT would create a mother of all message board meltdowns for recruiting fans. Let's hope White is in Norman next weekend, and hopefully ready to end this process soon.
- Jackson Jeffcoat: 6-5, 230, 4.6. DE. Plano, TX (Plano West). Visiting UT apparently this weekend? UT message boards will tell you that they lead big time on Jeffcoat. I honestly don't think anyone has any idea where he is going. I'm not sure if the UT visit is an official or not. No public timetable has been stated and visits to USC and I hope OU are still out there.
- Kenny Stills: 6-1, 175, 4.35 WR. Carlsbad, CA. Still has visited Norman and apparently will make a decision after visiting Michigan and Florida.
- Kyle Prater 6-5, 205, 4.5 WR Hillside, Il. Prater is now visiting USC the weekend he was supposed to visit OU? Who knows, there's a rumor ND might even be in the mix now, although committing to ND without a coach would be a real leap of faith (pun intended). Is OU out or just delayed a week? Not really sure, not sure it matters.
- Tony Jefferson 6-0, 205, 4.5 S/LB. Chula Vista, CA. Part of the California 3, visiting Michigan with Stills. And I think he's visiting Florida as well with Stills. If OU gets all 3, Brennan Clay will have played a major part.
- JR "Ego" Ferguson: 6-4, 275, 4.8 DE/DT. Hargrave Military Academy. Does the OU visit happen? It was supposed to be for the OSU game. I've heard nothing that indicates yes or no.
- Seantrel Henderson: 6-8, 300, 5.0 OT Minneapolis, MN. Does the OU visit happen? Odds are decreasing.
- Chris Martin: 6-5, 240, 4.6 DE Auroro. CO. Martin has recently decommitted from Notre Dame, I'm guessing the potential coaching change is making him look around. I kind of surprised he visited OU since he never mentioned OU at all during recruiting. Martin appears to have struck up a friendship with Kenny Stills on the recruiting trail. Does OU pursuing Martin mean anything about OU's chances with Jeffcoat? Probably, not, when a prospect as elite as Martin wants to visit. You bring him in.

- Joshua Shaw CB 6-2, 190, 4.4 Palmdale, CA. Didn't visit OU, announcing soon.
- Christian Jones OLB 6-4, 220, 4.6 Winter Park, FL. Is OU still interested??
- Ricky Heimuli 6-4, 285, 4.9 Salt Lake City, UT. No updates.
- George Uko 6-4, 290, 4.9. Chino, CA Don Lugo HS. No longer considering OU
- Victor Burnett 6-1, 225, 4.6 Culver City, CA. Verbaled to Washington
- Dexter Ransom 6-4, 215, 4.6 WR Blinn JC. Knee injury removed him from consideration.
- JUCO OL X: OU is going to clearly try and bring in at least one JUCO OL to provide some competition and depth. Mid term versus July graduate will be a key factor. No names have really surfaced yet.
- JUCO TE X: Haywood's verbal eliminates this option.
