The guys at Deadspin found what really isn’t that uncommon in Sheepville Stoolwater – a student dressed in blackface for all the world to see at last week’s game against Tech.
- Granted, he was probably the only black face in the crowd.
Now before you think this is just one kid in an unfortuate isolated incident during Black History Month, let’s take the not-too-way back machine to a 2002 fraternity party on the OSU farm campus when guys thought it would be a great idea to dress up as a.) Ned Beatty’s worst nightmare, b.) a Klansman, c.) somebody dressed in blackface, being lynched by said inbred and Klansman.
The OSU VP for student affairs at the time claimed free speech rights for the students.
Just when we think we’re making progress … fucking aggies.
